Submit your tool for free
List your tool where people look for alternatives to well-known software. It's free with our badge on your site: once our check finds the badge, a person reviews your listing within 7 days.
How it works
- 1
Tell us about your tool
Its name, website and what it does, and the tools it's an alternative to. We save it as a draft: it isn't listed yet.
- 2
Add our badge to your site
The next page gives you its code. Paste it where visitors can see it, on your homepage or the page you list, then press Check my badge.
- 3
A person reviews it within 7 days
Once our check finds the badge, your listing joins our review queue. When it goes live, its link to your site is followed for as long as the badge stays up.
The badge
An image that links to alterbase.co, in a light and a dark version: pick the one that suits your site.

Frequently asked questions
Is it free?
Yes. With our badge on your site, your listing costs nothing: no fee, no subscription. Without the badge we don't review or publish it, unless you make it Featured.
Where does the badge go?
Anywhere visitors can see it, on your homepage or on the page you list: the footer is fine. Keep the code as it is, since a link marked nofollow doesn't count, and keep the badge up: we check it every week.
What if my site blocks bots?
If our check can't read your site, for example because of a bot challenge, you can ask us to look for the badge by hand: a person checks your site in a browser when we review your listing.
Can I skip the review?
Yes: make your listing Featured for $5 once. It's published right away, with a followed link to your site and no badge needed, and nothing renews. You choose it after you submit.
